Every contact with RU2T is personal. Some people who reach out to us identify as survivors of abuse, some as concerned friends and/or family members.
Every situation is unique and a trained advocate will help navigate the needs, while providing confidential, safe, convenient and secure services.

Our Services
Rise Up 2 Thrive launched in October 2022, offering comprehensive wrap-around support and services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking. Our services are confidential and at no cost to our clients, and include:
24-Hour Crisis Intervention
- Provide immediate and confidential crisis intervention
- Offer on-scene response when deemed safe by law enforcement
- Provide hospital response in support of community member in crisis
- Offer emergency housing when needed
Medical Services
- Provide immediate and confidential hospital advocacy
- Work with sexual assault nurse examiner to complete free forensic exams
- Address immediate and follow up medical needs
- Coordinate referrals to ensure safety when released
Emergency Shelter
- Provide immediate and confidential shelter to anyone in imminent danger
- Arrange emergency short-term shelter and longer stay options when needed
Court Advocacy & Counseling
- Ensure that our clients’ right to safety is protected through the legal process
- File protection orders on behalf of our clients
- Accompany clients to and from civil and criminal court hearings
Case Management
- Connect clients to wrap around services provided by our partners in government and community based agencies
- Provide enhanced case management including on-going and long-term safety planning, medical, nutritional and/or other health services, counseling, life skill classes, financial planning/advice, resume writing and job interview preparation
